2007年8月18日至20日,“世界华文文学研究:理论与实践”国际学术研讨会在福州举行。此次研讨会由中国世界华文文学学会、福建省海峡文化研究会、福建省台港澳暨海外华文文学研究会和国际新移民作家笔会联合主办,由福建社会科学院文学所与《台港文学选刊》杂志社共同承办。来自美国、新加坡、马来西亚、日本、韩国、澳大利亚等国,以及台湾、香港和大陆十多个省、市、自治区的80多位学者出席了此次会议。为期两天半的研讨会,设有“大会主题发言”、“大陆新生代学者”两个专场和“世界华文文学理论建设”、“台湾香港文学”、“海外华文文学”三个专题,与会的专家学者就相关议题进行了深入的讨论和对话。中国作家协会名誉副主席张炯,福建省社会科学院党组书记、福建省海峡文化研究会会长杨华基,福建省社会科学院院长南帆等出席了会议并致辞。
From August 18 to August 20, 2007, the International Symposium on “World Chinese Literature Research: Theory and Practice” was held in Fuzhou. The symposium was co-sponsored by the Chinese World Chinese Literature Institute, Fujian Provincial Institute of Strait Culture, Fujian Province, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Overseas Chinese Literature Research Association and International New Migrants PEN Association. The symposium was jointly organized by the Literature Institute of Fujian Academy of Social Sciences, Magazine co-host. More than 80 scholars from the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea and Australia, as well as more than 10 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China attended the conference. The two-and-a-half-day symposium will feature two keynote speeches: “Conference Keynote Speech”, “Mainland New Generation Scholars”, “World Literary Theory Construction in the World”, “Taiwan Hong Kong Literature” Overseas Chinese literature "three topics, the participating experts and scholars on issues related to in-depth discussions and dialogue. Zhang Jiong, honorary vice chairman of the Chinese Writers Association, secretary of the party group of Fujian Provincial Academy of Social Sciences, Yang Huaji, president of Fujian Provincial Institute of Strait Culture, and Nan Fan, dean of the Fujian Provincial Academy of Social Sciences attended the meeting and made speeches.
