亚毫米波-基础模型系统已研制成功并应用于获取成象和对缩尺模型目标进行雷达截面(RCS)测量。在证实性实验中把由 CO_2光泵激的 CH_3OH 激光器所得到的三个频率为1288、2542和3125千兆赫的亚毫米波分别应用于频率为37.70和90千兆赫的模型。此外,可利用37.6微米(7980千兆赫)CD_3OH 激光器谱线以扩大测试范围到228千兆赫。所获结果证实,该系统能定量给出雷达数据。
Submillimeter-based modeling systems have been developed and applied to acquire imaging and radar cross-section (RCS) measurements of scale model targets. In a confirmatory experiment, three sub-millimeter frequencies of 1288, 2542 and 3125 GHz obtained from CH_3OH laser pumped by CO_2 light were respectively applied to the models with frequency of 37.70 and 90 GHz. In addition, a 37.6 micron (7980 GHz) CD_3OH laser line can be utilized to expand the test range to 228 GHz. The results obtained confirm that the system can provide quantitative radar data.
