With the help of multi-media teaching methods, the picture materials are used conveniently and extensively in the history teaching of high schools. It is no doubt that the picture materials have played an active role in promoting the history teaching of high schools. The rational and scientific application of picture materials can be simplified, interesting and deepened. Historical knowledge, improve the efficiency of history classes, and promote the effectiveness of high school history teaching do more with less. However, the extreme objectivity will be reversed, and the non-scientific nature of the application of image data will sometimes be counterproductive, resulting in unnecessary troubles and obstacles to high school history teaching. At present, in the history teaching of high schools, there are roughly three types of misunderstandings in the application of picture materials: the pictures have not been audited, and the music has not been audited.
