微信收费的风波随着“小马哥”(马化腾)的一再辟谣似乎已逐步烟消云散,但是,这件事绝对没完。像微信这样的OTT业务,通常是指互联网企业利用运营商的宽带网络所发展出的自己的业务,从而可以直接面向用户收费,而导致网络运营商沦为传输管道,无利可图。细想一下,对于运营商来说,微信是短信和通话的结合体,其朋友圈功能又类似微博,而且这个对手既潮又免费,背后又是财大气粗的企鹅帝国。在这场争论中,腾讯发过声,工信部辟过谣,媒体也热议许久,而处于核心位置的三大运营商却一直沉默。
