中国的基础教育在受到广泛认可的同时,国人想象力、创造力的匮乏始终遭到诟病,成为一个困扰着几代人的话题。随着上海市二期课改的推进和牛津英语教材的使用,对英语教学也提出了新的要求。人们逐渐认识到过去我们所采用的行为主义理论指导下的传统教学模式已不能满足当前培养高素质人才的需要,由此引发了新一轮的试验和实践。在小学英语教学改革和发展的过程中,二期课改特别强调以学生的发展为本,即以人为本的思想,鼓励培养学生的创新能力。教师应把封闭式的习惯性思维变为开放式的创造性思维,并有意识地带着这种观念组织教学,赋予学生想象的空间,使他们的语言能力能在更宽松的氛围中得到发展。
While China’s basic education is widely recognized, the lack of imagination and creativity in the country has always been criticized as a topic that plagued many generations. With the promotion of the second phase curriculum reform in Shanghai and the use of Oxford English teaching materials, new requirements have also been put forward on English teaching. People gradually realized that the traditional teaching mode under the guidance of the behavioralist theory we used in the past can no longer meet the current need of cultivating high-quality personnel, thus triggering a new round of experiments and practices. In the process of the reform and development of primary English teaching, the second phase of curriculum reform places special emphasis on the development of students, that is, people-oriented thinking, to encourage the cultivation of students’ innovative abilities. Teachers should turn closed habitual thinking into open and creative thinking, and consciously organize teaching with this concept to give students imagination, so that their language ability can be developed in a more relaxed atmosphere.
