理查德·施特劳斯生前声名显赫,但身后却颇受争议,人们对他的评价经常毁誉参半,甚至贬多于褒,“庸俗”、“颓废”、“唯美主义”、“色情”等,是分析其作品时屡见不鲜的标签用语。而事实上,在古典音乐举步维艰的当下,R·施特劳斯的音乐已成为国内外上演率最高的音乐之一,其歌剧中的选段甚至作为一些国际声乐比赛的必唱曲目,这种现象引人深思。换个角度,我们会重新理解R·施特劳斯的音乐。本文以《莎乐美》和《艾莱克特拉》为研究对象,从女性主义视角下对其歌剧进行研究,我们会发现R·施特劳斯具有那个时代的超前意识,他关注女性的地位,重视女性的主体情感,崇尚女性的身体欲望表达。具有渊源的文化内涵和丰富的人文情怀,其艺术研究价值不可小觑。
