The production of chain drive sprockets by means of metal pressure machining is a less wasteful process and is a major achievement in the machinery industry. The main methods of manufacturing chain drive sprocket with plastic deformation technology are rolling method, rack method, radial die forging method and extrusion method. Each method is suitable for a given class of sprockets and some of them do not meet the requirements of ГОСТ592-81 and ГОСТ591-69 for ring gear parameters or require additional machining. Squeezing sprockets in splittable dies has proven to be economical because no additional machine to its teeth is required after extrusion
