The ammonium molybdate solution obtained from the roasting and ammonia leaching of molybdenum ore contains copper and iron impurities and is usually removed by sulfide precipitation. However, the precipitate often entrains a part of molybdenum and the sulfide precipitation is still to be further processed. This article describes the use of N-510 (2-hydroxy-5-sec-octyl-benzophenone oxime) purification ammonium molybdate solution to obtain ammonium paramolybdate and copper sulfate. (I) Saturation Capacity of Organic Phase The higher the concentration of N-510 in the organic phase, the more favorable the copper extraction is, but the concentration is too high and the organic phase is sticky
