中西方的传统音乐在各方面都存在着较大的差异,尤其从曲式学的角度对其进行探索更会发现这两种各具特色的音乐类型是截然不同的,无论是创作理念、发展技法、思维方式,还是音乐作品的各个细节都具有显著的差别。近年来,由于欧洲音乐的推崇与盛行,其一系列学术理念与思维方式势不可挡地占据了中国音乐这片具有悠久历史并且饱含厚重民族文化底蕴的艺术沃土。于是,很多人开始使用西方的音乐技术理论——曲式分析方法来诠释中国传统音乐作品。这样的做法是否真的合适呢?换言之,中国传统音乐曲式结构、旋律形态、音乐特征等方面是否真的与西方音乐殊途同归呢?“文化心态是一种集体无意识”。无论是中国、欧洲各国,还是世界上其他任何国家的音乐文化在传承与发展的过程中,都会受到本民族的政治形态、人文修养、思想意识,甚至是自然环境与民族习惯的影响与制约。深受中国古代“天人和一”的哲学思想渗透的中国传统音乐又怎会与深受对立统一规律潜移默化影响着的西方音乐有着相同的面貌与本质呢?而二者之间的差别才是
