热轧大口径厚壁无缝碳素钢管的冲击韧性差,在使用过程中容易发生脆断,经过热处理后可以得到改善。对大口径厚壁20钢无缝钢管进行正火热处理后,其晶粒得到细化,从而改善了室温冲击韧性,但低温冲击韧性仍然差。淬火处理后获得了铁素体魏氏组织和珠光体的混合组织,钢管的室温和低温冲击韧性均得到显著改善,同时还具有高的强度。淬火后在650℃下进行回火能够使魏氏组织针片之间析出碳化物,从而获得强度和冲击韧性的良好配合。
