为了测定水稻土中的络合态低铁,建議用含α-α′联二吡啶的氯化鋇-醋酸鋇缓冲液(pH7)进行提取。这种溶液不致提取出土壤中的高铁,也不致使沉淀态低铁显著地转到溶液中来,但却可以把与土壤有机质络合的低铁,与水溶态和代换态低铁一并提出。用三种土壤提取出的络合态低铁数量,与土壤的有机质含量有直线相关。当土壤去掉有机质时,络合态铁也即消失。根据条件试验,认为用含0.5%α-α′联二吡啶的2N氯化鋇缓冲液,以1:20的土液比例,作用半小时,連续提取两次,可以基本上把土壤中所含的络合态低铁全部提取出来。
