语言是一个民族最重要的文化元素之一,是民族性格特征的重要载体。在饱含民族性格特征的语言载体中,相对稳定的语法系统、丰富而活跃的词汇储存、脍炙人口的经典文学作品以及广泛流传于民间的口头创作都能从不同侧面反映一个民族的某些性格特征。透过语言客观揭示一个民族的主要性格特征,对于各民族间跨文化交流有着重要的指导意义。
Language is one of the most important cultural elements of a nation and an important carrier of the character of a nation. Relatively stable grammatical systems, rich and active vocabulary storage, popular classic literary works and verbal creations widely circulated in the folk can all reflect certain character traits of a nation from different aspects in the language carrier full of national character. To objectively reveal the main personality traits of a nation through language provides an important guiding significance for cross-cultural exchanges among different ethnic groups.
