为了选育出适宜北方盐渍土地区生长的速生优质用材树种,我所于1980年春从江苏省林科所引进8个杂交柳品种.经过二年圃地育苗试验,初步认为109号柳与当地旱快柳相比具有较明显的优点.它耐低温、干旱、盐碱,干型通直,生长速度快,对气候适应性较强,可望成为营口地区生产上的良种.现将试验结果初报如下:一、试验地自然概况及试验材料试验地设在营口市郊区苗圃.该地临近渤海,地下水位1—2米,一般土壤含盐量0.1—0.7%(氯化物占全盐量40%左右),PH7—8.5.气候属于温带季风近大陆性气候类型,年平均气温9.l℃,年最低气温-27.1℃,年最高气温31℃,年蒸发量
