Through the research on ecological restoration of river landscape in arid area of Xinjiang, this paper makes use of the basic theory of landscape ecology and landscape design to take the typical Manas River section as an example to explore three aspects of water purification, vertical traffic and rural landscape, District seasonal river ecological restoration practice. Provide some reference and demonstration for the ecological construction of similar rivers in Xinjiang region. 1. Study Subjects Overview The Manas River basin is located in arid and semi-arid inland regions. The water resources on the surface are relatively abundant but the regions are unevenly distributed. The interannual variability is greater during the year. The river provides industrial and agricultural water for the construction of the surrounding cities.
