英文歌曲其实就是伴着优美音乐的语言学习材料。有了这份材料,教师可以对学生进行听、说、读、写各项技能的训练。一首难度、速度适中的歌曲可以作为很好的听力材料。由于歌词的题材丰富,单纯从描写来看就有对人、物、地点甚至心情的刻画。因此,在写作训练中,鼓励学生找出喜爱的单词或句子,激发他们的写作灵感,也是很有效的训练手段。歌曲的课前播放对于学生迅速带领学生进入英语的课堂学习起到了很好的促进作用。简单论述了如何在初中英语课堂中引用英文歌曲提高课堂教学效率,并结合教学从导入新课、提高学生听力、词汇量及写作技巧等方面提出了拙见。
