At the very beginning of the Cold War, the vast anti-PRC ideological movement in the United States relied heavily on Hong Kong’s central position in East Asian media and the ultra-large-scale immigrant group of “exiles” who arrived in Hong Kong. The typical representative is the anti-communist Chinese novels . In the 1950s, the press office of the U.S. Consulate General in Hong Kong mobilized and planned a large number of anti-Communist literary works by mobilizing and planning exiled Chinese in Hong Kong. The main theme was that the Chinese youth lost their faith in the revolution, and “exiles” flee the mainland and went to the “ Free world ”two categories. The anti-communist literature planned by the United States not only has the propaganda function of anti-communism, but also reflects the anti-communist ideology and religious concepts of the United States and projects its own awareness of identity based on history and religion. Since the related novels have the characteristics of “anti-communist ideology anthropomorphism”, they have a certain publicity effect on Chinese in mainland China and Southeast Asia.
