Japan is implementing a new investment strategy, namely a full range of foreign investment. Its purpose is fivefold: (a) to find a way out for its huge foreign trade surpluses and a large surplus of capital. In recent years, Japan has been the world’s largest trade surplus country with foreign exchange reserves standing at the top of the world. The large amount of surplus capital pooled needs to find a way out and aiming for a huge surplus of capital to target investment globally.
