Scene 2: From the movie The Devil Wears Prada
安迪收到著名时尚杂志《T型台》的面试通知，面试官是杂志的主编，时尚界的风云人物米兰达，安迪如何赢得主编助理这个职位的呢？
Miranda: Who are you?
Andy: My name is Andy Sachs. I recently graduated from Northwestern University.
Miranda: And what are you doing here?
Andy: Well, …I think I could do a good job as your assistant…and, uhm, …Yeah, I came to New York to be a journalist and sent letters out everywhere and then finally got a call from Elias Clark and met with Cherry up at Human Resources and, basically it’s this or Auto Universe.
Miranda: So you don’t read Runway?
Andy: Ahh, …no.
Miranda: And before today you had never heard of fashion….
Andy: No.
Miranda: And you have no style or sense of fashion .
Andy: Well, uhm,think that depends on what your.
Miranda: No, no. That wasn’t a question.
Andy: Uhm, …I was editor-in-chief of the Daily Northwestern. I also, uhm, won a national competition for a college journalist with my series on the Janitor’s Union, which exposed the…
Miranda: That’s all.
Andy: Yeah, yeah, okay, you’re right, ①I don’t fit in here. I am not skinny or glamorous and I don’t know that much about fashion, but I’m smart, I learn fast, and I will work very hard.
[The designer Nigel came in]
Nigel:Alright, I’ve got the exclusive on the Kovali Faguena…
Miranda:Um hm.
Andy: Thank you for your…ime.

安迪：嗯……我是《西北大学日报》的主编。我还……在一次全国大学生记者赛事中获奖，那时我在《学校工友联盟》发表了连载文章，揭露了……
米兰达：够了。
安迪: 是的，是的，好的，你是对的，我不适合这里。我长得既不苗条外貌又不出众，又不太懂时尚，但是我很聪明，学得快，我会非常努力地工作。

奈杰尔：好，我有克瓦丽•芳瑰娜的独家报道。
米兰达：嗯。
安迪：谢谢您……您的宝贵时间。
