本研究对高校非英语专业学生的文化自觉培养现状进行了初步的调查,并设计教师问卷,对结果进行了探索性因子分析以查找原因。结果显示,学生普遍对中西文化基础知识、跨文化交际基本常识掌握较好,也具有较高的中国文化英语表达学习热情;但中国文化英语表达能力较差,对中西文化的批判性认识有待加强。究其原因,虽然教师普遍具有较强的中国文化教学意识,但对中西文化的批判性思维意识尚需提高,其个人的中国文化英语表达水平存在进一步提升的必要,未来亟需加强对大学英语教材中中国文化相关英语表达内容的强化。
This study conducted a preliminary investigation on the status quo of culturally conscious cultivation of non-English majors in colleges and universities, designed a questionnaire for teachers and conducted exploratory factor analysis on the results to find out the reasons. The results show that students generally have a good grasp of basic knowledge of Chinese and Western cultures, basic common sense of intercultural communication and high enthusiasm for learning and expressing Chinese Cultural English. However, their ability to express Chinese culture is poor and their critical understanding of Chinese and Western cultures needs to be strengthened. . The reason is that though teachers generally have a strong sense of Chinese culture and teaching, they still need to improve their critical thinking awareness of Chinese and Western cultures. Therefore, there is a need for their individual level of expression in Chinese cultural English to further enhance their understanding of College English Intensification of Texts Related to Chinese Culture in Teaching Texts.
