本文在回顾了其他学者对于英语教师在课堂中进行语码转换研究的基础上,探讨英语教师进行语码转换的动机极其影响因素,从而探明语码转换对外语学习的影响。本研究的分析材料来自于某高校英语专业大一学生基础英语和泛读课的听课记录和分析。研究发现英语教师在进行英语和汉语之间语码转换的动机和影响因素为:讲解教学要点、避免翻译术语及专有名词、教师习惯、学生英语水平的限制等。
Based on the review of other scholars’ research on the code-switching of English teachers in the classroom, this paper explores the extremely influential motivation of English teachers in code-switching and explores the impact of code-switching on foreign language learning. The analysis materials of this study come from the record and analysis of lectures of Basic English and Extensive Reading of freshmen in a college English major. It is found that motivation and influencing factors of English teachers’ code-switching between English and Chinese are: explaining teaching points, avoiding translation terminology and proper nouns, teachers’ habits and students’ English proficiency.
