大学城建设是一种新兴的办学形式。建设大学城是促进广东高教事业再腾飞的重大发展战略:大学城是21世纪广东社会经济发展的动力源:大学城建设是深化广东高等教育综合改革的大舞台;大学城建设是加快广东高等教育大众化进程的需要。根据省府领导指示,由省府发展研究中心牵头,组织华南理工、中大、广工、广东药学、广州大学等参加,进行“广州大学城建设与发展战略研究”。研究报告完成后,该研究成果得到中共中央政治局委员、中共广东省委书记张德江同志的充分肯定。现将部分研究成果选登于下,供领导和有关部门参阅。

Selected research results are now selected for the leadership and the relevant departments for reference.
