老龙泉超基性岩体位于河南桐柏山北麓,大河公社老龙泉村。该地处于秦岭东西复杂构造带东段南支,彭家寨倒转背斜北翼,属桐柏双山—大河超基性岩带中的一个岩体。岩体侵位于早古生代大河组蔡家湾段(Pz_1dh~3)地层中。该区超基性岩带沿桐(柏)—商(城)大断裂带分布,或称豫南古板块构造缝合线。据河南省地质局区测队、原地质八队资料,在该区先后发现超基性岩体104个。按岩体出露位置划分为南、北两个亚带:北亚带西起双山,东至瓦屋庄,长25公里,宽2—3公里。包括的主要岩体有:双山、大山庄、罗沟、柳树庄、上瓦屋庄、台子庄、南冲和瓦屋庄等18个超基性岩体;其规模最大者长6800米,宽20—450米,最小者长100余米,宽50余米。岩体形态呈细长条状,侵位于下古生界弧山头组
The old Longquan ultrabasic rock mass is located in the north of Tongbai Mountain in Henan Province and is located in Old Longquan Village, Dahe Commune. The site is located in the southwest branch of the east-west complex structure of Qinling Mountains and the north wing of the Pengjiazhai inverted anticline, and belongs to a rock mass in the Tongbai Shishan-Dahe ultrabasic rock belt. The intrusive rocks are located in the Cazhangwan section (Pz_1dh ~ 3) of Early Paleozoic Dahe Formation. The ultrabasic rock belt of this area is distributed along the Tong (Bai)-Shang (city) fault zone, or the southern Henan section of the ancient plate tectonic suture. According to the Henan Geological Bureau test team, the original geological eight team data, in the area have found 104 ultramafic rocks. According to the location of rock mass, it is divided into two sub-zones of south and north: the north subtropical zone starts from Shishan in the west and ends in Wawuzhuang, 25 km long and 2-3 km wide. The main rock masses included are 18 ultramafic rocks such as Shuangshan, Dashanzhuang, Luogou, Willow Zhuang, Shangwawuzhuang, Taizizhuang, Nanchong and Wawuzhuang; the largest of these is 6800m in length and 20 in width -450 meters, the smallest person more than 100 meters wide and more than 50 meters.
