郭石夫1945年生于北京,祖籍天津。以大写意花鸟画享誉画坛,并兼擅山水、书法、篆刻、诗词及西洋绘画等,于戏曲上造诣尤深。郭石夫先生的花鸟画,博综集粹、渊源广大,其画风沉雄朴厚、古雅刚正,磅礴而不染犷悍之习,洒脱而内具坚贞之质。凡一花片叶、寸草泰石,莫不深合理法,备极情态,而未尝于“创新”的旗号下堕入流滑狂怪一格,实为中国当代大写意花鸟画领域树立一代典范。现为中国美术家协会会员、北京画院艺术委员会委员、国家一级美术师。 Guo Shifu was born in 1945 in Beijing, native of Tianjin.
