当前,成人教育发展很快,各级各类的成人学校已成为培养四化建设人才的重要渠道,因此深入探讨“成人教育规律,努力提高教学质量”这个问题既有理论意义也有实践意义。在教师与学员共同活动的教学过程中,教师和学员究意是什么关系?学员应当处于什么地位?它关系到如何提高教学质量的大问题,每个成人学校的教师对此必须有正确的认识。现在,在这个问题的认识上有两种不同的意见:一种意见认为既然学员是到学校学习知识的,他们是教育的对象,教师就应该有绝对的权威,学员只能听教师的教导,甚至把学员当成一个“溶器”,教师可以随心所欲地向里面倾倒“液体”。另一种意见认为学员是教育的对象,也是教育的中心。他们有一定的社会经验和实践
