The Royal Institute of Remote Sensing National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC) invented a new type of digital processing technology that eliminates the traditional “splicing” effect of satellite ground photography. It is believed that this processing technique called “digital inlay” can greatly improve the resolution and precision of the image. Why there is a “stitching” effect? This is because a map - such as a map of the United Kingdom - is the satellite after a few days shooting time, each time over the UK, the satellite to shoot a large area of 185 km × 185 km of photos. The meteorological conditions vary with each passing, so the pictures taken by the satellites are an inhomogeneous, superimposed composite picture.
