长期以来,外语教学被看作是一种纯粹的语言技能培养活动;同时,红色教育也一般只由思想政治教育课程或者班级活动来承担。然而,研究表明,外语教学具有鲜明的社会文化性;红色教育也需要广泛深入地渗透到各个学科之中才能发挥其最大教育功效。红色教育与外语教学相结合可以实现互为促进、互为补充。本文以赣南革命老区红色教育为例,通过班级命名、红色旅游和红色经典文献翻译练习等教学活动,探索在高校英语教学中融入红色教育的有效策略。
For a long time, foreign language teaching is seen as a purely language skills training; the same time, red education is generally only by the ideological and political education courses or class activities to undertake. However, studies show that foreign language teaching has distinct social and cultural features. Red education also needs to penetrate extensively and deeply into all disciplines to achieve its maximum educational effect. The combination of red education and foreign language teaching can promote each other and complement each other. Taking the red education in the old revolutionary base areas of Gannan as an example, this paper explores the effective strategies of incorporating red education in college English teaching through teaching activities such as class naming, red tourism and the translation of the red classics.
