Historically, Jiaozhou was once the most important machining and manufacturing base in northern China with a good industrial base. According to statistics, Jiaozhou has over 12,000 enterprises of all kinds. Among them, there are 806 enterprises above designated size, 450 above-scale enterprises whose main business income is over 100 million yuan. As can be seen from the figure, the fine industrial tradition over the years has laid a solid foundation for the development of manufacturing in Jiaozhou. However, in Jiaozhou manufacturing industry, there are also low-end, scattered issues. Numerous enterprises, but failed to form a strong industrial agglomeration. The industrial parks run by the towns are highly similar, lacking in characteristics and scattered in layout
