德国画家马克斯·恩斯特是重要的达达及超现实主义画家,一生创作了大量鸟主题作品,涉及自我、生殖、性别及战争等多个题材。其中,名为“洛普洛普(loplop)”的拟人之鸟反复在恩斯特的作品中出现。它是恩斯特本人的符号,更象征着超现实主义运动的美学内涵。文章将分三部分对“洛普洛普”的形成、功能及内涵进行分析,使读者对恩斯特的创作与思想有更为清晰的理解,进一步揭示超现实主义运动为现代艺术带来的颠覆与创造。
The German painter Max Ernst is an important Dada and surrealistic painter who has created a large number of bird themed works throughout his life, covering many subjects such as self, reproduction, gender and war. Among them, the anthropoid bird named “loplop” repeatedly appears in Ernst’s work. It is Ernst’s own symbol, more symbolizing the aesthetic connotation of surrealist movement. This essay will analyze the formation, function and connotation of “Laplop” in three parts so as to make the reader have a clearer understanding of Ernst’s creation and thought, and further reveal that the movement of surrealism is a modern artistic belt Subversion and creation.
