自治区农作物品种审定委员会于1994年审(认)定新品种26个,希望各地结合实际情况,因地制宜,加快繁殖推广步伐,把科技成果尽快转化为生产力,为自治区农业生产再上一个新台阶做贡献。现将这些新品种简介如下:一、冬麦品种新冬17号(原代号80-47)是新疆农垦科学院作物所育成。该品种芽鞘绿色,幼苗半匍匐,旗叶上举,株型紧凑,茎秆粗壮,抗倒,株高80-90厘米,分蘖力中等,成穗率高,穗长方形,长9-10厘米,北疆生育期280天,南疆生育期265天左右;籽粒白色,长椭圆形,角质,腹沟浅,千粒重38-40克,容重790-832克/升,蛋白质含量14.2%,在覆雪条件下越冬成活率95%左右,抗寒性中等,轻感叶锈、条锈、白粉病。这个品种适宜播期北疆9月20-25日,南疆9月25日-10月5日,每亩播种量10公斤,播种前种子必须用药剂拌种。一般亩产400-500公斤,可在北疆冬麦区、南疆留行套种或单季正播栽培。
