An official from China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA) recently says that the downward development of the copper processing charge agreed by the negotiators has rung a warning bell for those actively finding ways to join in the copper smelting team. Shang Fushan, general secretary of the copper branch under CNIA told reporters that the new copper smelting projects should be carefully evaluated and those already in the business should find out ways to overcome the present difficulties.
