第二次世界大战以后,日本工业发展速度较快,在美帝国主义发动侵朝战争前后,生产即恢复到战前水平。1956年之后,以增加设备投资(每年达三到四万亿日元)为支柱,日本的工业生产得到了进一步的膨胀。日本在造船、人造纤维等生产方面早已占世界第一位,去年(1963年)钢产量达到三千四百多万吨,估计已经超过西德。现在日本的工业生产水平已经大体上与法国相当(见下表)。主要资本主义国家工业生产比重战前(1937年) 1948年 1962年
After World War II, Japan’s industrial development was rapid. Before and after the invasion of the DPRK by the U.S. imperialists, production was restored to its pre-war level. After 1956, Japan’s industrial production was further expanded by increasing equipment investment (3-4 trillion yen a year). Japan already ranks first in the world in shipbuilding and man-made fiber production. Last year (1963), Japan’s steel output reached more than 34 million tons, which is estimated to have surpassed that of West Germany.
