古典与现代是庞茂琨作品风格中无法绕开的两个词汇在最新的展览中庞茂琨通过“手绘”的方式将这两种风格完美的呈现出来作为中国当下一直坚持探索古典油画语言的当代艺术家,从早期的彝族系列,到上世纪90年代的都市生活题材,再到“模糊”系列、“虚拟时光”系列,以及近期的“巧合”系列、“邂逅”系列、“沉溺”系列、“光耀”系列……庞茂琨一直尝试着打破自身既定的艺术样式,并由此丰富着个人风格的建构与完善。
Classical and Modern are two words that Pang Maokun can not circumvent in his style of work. In the latest exhibition, Pang Maokun perfectly presents these two styles through “hand drawing” as the contemporary artist in China that always insists on exploring classical oil painting language From the early Yi series to the theme of urban life in the 90s of last century, and then to the “Blur” series, the “Virtual Time” series, and the recent “Coincidence” series, the “Encounter ” series , “Indulgence” series, “Guangyao” series ... Pang Maokun has been trying to break his own established art style, and thus enrich the construction and perfection of personal style.
