党的十七大报告明确要求,全心全意依靠工人阶级,完善以职工代表大会为基本形式的企事业单位民主管理制度,推进厂务公开,支持职工参与管理,维护职工合法权益。随着改革开放不断向纵深发展,在多种所有制经济形式并存的情况下,职工民主管理工作能否在不同所有制企事业单位得到落实,是摆在我们面前的重要课题。当前,在国际金融危机的影响下,加强职工民主管理有助于实现社会和谐与稳定,调动广大职工的积极性和创造性,帮助企业度过难关,促进劳资双方互利共赢,推动企业长久稳定发展,实现经济社会平稳快速发展。
