陕北沟壑土坝施工中,硪实工具曾吸取下游修防的经验而不断改进。在韭园沟的几座土坝施工中,硪实工具采用灯台硪,55年以后,推广了下游所试行的碌沟硪。开始由于民工的习惯问题,凡有打灯台硪技术的老工人,不愿接受,经过一个时期的思想动员,说明碌硪的优越性以后,终于扭转了。56年陕北沟壑土坝量修做,在施工中,夯实工具全部采用碌硪,根据各坝试验统计的质量看,都较韭园沟内使用
