Carrots are famous for their rich carotenoids. Each gram of carrot contains 3.6 grams of carotene, and maintains efficacy at high temperatures, and is easily absorbed by the body. The Chinese medicine believes that carrots are “sweet, mild, and non-toxic, and have the functions of lowering qi, supplementing the chest, regulating the gastrointestinal tract, and maintaining five internal organs.” Modern medicine believes that: carrots have lower blood pressure, strong heart diuretic, anti-inflammatory mercury, anti-allergic, anti-cancer anti-cancer effect. In recent years, it has attracted the attention of the medical community, especially the functional science of 93 Chinese carotene and antioxidant vitamins in preventing diseases.
