作者就伊春林区141个苗圃,按其所在地理位置,划分南、北、中三片。并在每片中心附近,用大样本随机取样方法,分别选取红松、落叶松、樟子松、红皮云杉等四个主要更新造林树种的出圃成苗进行化验分析,然后换算出单位苗床(1m~2)成苗出圃时带走N、P、K三元素的准确数量。然后再根据营养元素归还学说,各种营养元素同等重要不可代替律的科学原理,参考国外报导,结合本地多年苗圃肥效试验,概算出圃地营养元素的人工补给量。说明了伊春141个苗圃急需还给圃地的各种肥种的施用量。
