举世瞩目的中国共产党第十五次全国代表大会,高举邓小平理论的伟大旗帜,对我国的经济、政治、文化等各方面的建设作出了新的战略部署。在学习贯彻十五大精神的热潮中,我们更加深刻地认识到,要努力加快发展步伐,把经济建设转移到依靠科技进步和提高劳动者素质的轨道上来,确保国民经济快速持续发展,必须进一步坚持科学技术是第一生产力的科学论断,进一步坚持并加快实施“科教兴市”战略。
The 15th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party, which has drawn worldwide attention, holds high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory and has made a new strategic plan for the construction of China's economy, politics and culture. In the ups and downs of studying and implementing the spirit of the 15th Party Congress, we have realized more profoundly that we must make further efforts to speed up the pace of development and shift economic construction to the track of relying on scientific and technological progress and improving the quality of laborers so as to ensure the rapid and sustained development of our national economy. Adhere to science and technology is the scientific determination of the first productive forces, and further adhere to and accelerate the implementation of “science and education” strategy.
