据京都新闻1982年6月15日报道:爱知县癌中心生化部松影昭夫开创的用单克隆抗体(只与作用于细胞分裂时的酶发生反应的一种特殊抗体)检查癌细胞的方法,可期待用于癌的早期发现。用该法在显微镜下观察细胞组织中有增殖迅速的部分时,就可确认在无限反复增殖的癌细胞内酶也增加。高级动物的细胞分裂增殖是DNA复制酶的作用。这种酶中有α、β、γ三种型,其中已知α—酶帮助DNA的分裂增殖。但因α—酶结构不稳定,所以至今虽然试用了各种各样的方法,仍未弄清该酶的形态和怎样
