吉单159是吉林省农科院玉米研究所以自选系846为母本、丹340为父本杂交育成的高产、优质玉米单交种。1988年引入梨树县试种,到1992年大面积种植,35点平均亩产达670.35公斤,比对照品种丹玉13号增产23.6%。梨树县团结乡三合村农民贾洪光1991年种半公顷,产粮5625公斤,平均亩产750公斤。 Ji’dan 159 is a high-yielding and high-quality maize variety cross-bred by the Institute of Maize, Jilin Academy of Agricultural Sciences based on its self-selected line 846 as the female parent and Dan 340 as the male parent. In 1988, Lishu County was introduced for trial cultivation. Large-scale cultivation was carried out in 1992, with an average yield of 670.35 kg at 35 points, an increase of 23.6% over the control variety Dan Yu 13. Jia Hongguang, a farmer from Sanhe Village, Tuanhe Township, Lishu County, started her farming in 1991 with half a hectare of grain and produced 5,625 kilograms of grain, with an average yield of 750 kilograms.
