作为执政党的中国共产党除了要加强自身建设之外,还对民主党派建设负有主导责任。但这并不意味着要否定民主党派建设的地位和作用,二者应该是一种紧密联系、互相促进的关系。这一全新认识对于当前搞好高校统战工作具有重要的指导意义。高校构建二者的互相促进机制,需建立健全教育学习机制,建立健全领导协调机制,建立健全协商参与机制,建立健全监督制约机制,建立健全民主法治机制。
