在毛主席无产阶级革命路线指引下,我区广大工农群众和科技人员,从1970年起,开展了白僵菌土法生产和用于林间防治松毛虫的科学实验活动,几年来,取得了一定的效果。刚开始时,生产和试用单位只有两个,菌粉只有几十斤,防治面积仅400亩,1972年生产和使用单位扩大到50多个,防治面积11万多亩,占全年防治面积的40%;1973年进一步推广,生产和使用单位上半年就有60多个,防治面积62万亩,占总防治面积的86%。杀虫效果一般可达80%以上。目前我区年产菌粉达10万斤左右,供大面积防治使用。这对于控制害虫,保护松林,起到了积极的作用。
