到了2000年,我们将有七十亿人口,比今天人口多一倍。如果我们把粮食产量翻一番,仍满足不了需要。我们至少必须把粮食增加二倍,因为,正如专家们所说,人类的三分之二正遭受“蛋白质摄取不平衡”的痛苦,用普通的话来说,他们正在饿肚子。我们已找到解决全球性粮食危机的途径了吗?
By the year 2000, we will have a population of seven billion people, twice the population today. If we double the output of food, we still can not meet the demand. We at least have to double our food because, as experts say, two-thirds of humanity is suffering from the “imbalance of protein intake” and, in ordinary words, they are hungry. Have we found a way to solve the global food crisis?
