现在个别戏剧团体出现了“弃艺经商”的咄咄怪事,应该引起足够的重视。有个剧团卖钢琴、卖大幕,甚至卖地皮,换回资金办招待所赚钱;有些演员对排演马虎应付,却抖擞精神充当外商的代理人,四出推销商品,从中抽取相当可观的佣金。还有的舞台工作人员,对演出急需的装置、道具或服装,雇人来制作,而自己去承接“来料加工”,捞“外汇”,发洋财。凡此种种足可看出,在戏剧队伍中,确有个别人对金钱的追逐大大超过对艺术的探求。他们不只视戏剧为商品,甚至连自己也以经商为乐事,早把戏剧工
Now there are some strange things that individual theater groups have to “abandon their business with,” which deserves enough attention. There is a theater company selling pianos, selling big screens, and even selling land for money. In return, the actors make money out of their hostels. Some of the performers act slavishly on the rehearsals but act as agents for foreign merchants. Four are selling the merchandise and drawing considerable commissions. There are also stage staff, the performance of badly needed devices, props or clothing, hired to make, and to undertake their own “processing”, fishing “foreign exchange”, made foreign money.
