声波测井是测井的主要方法之一。声速测井可以判断气层的位置,确定油气接触面和油水接触面,划分地层,和估计岩石孔隙度。声幅测井主要用于检查固井质量,所以有时称为水泥胶结测井;但是声幅测井并不只限于水泥胶结测井,例如用于在裸眼井中划分裂缝带。变密度测井(全波列测井——下同)可以同时测量套管信号和地层信号的幅度,并且把全波列都记录下来,因此可以比较详细地判断套管胶结情况和地层耦合情况以及串槽情况。
Acoustic logging is one of the main methods of logging. Sonic logging can determine the position of gas reservoirs, determine the contact surface of oil and gas and oil-water contact, divide the formation, and estimate the rock porosity. Sound amplitude logging is primarily used to check cementing quality and is sometimes referred to as cement cementing; however, amplitude logging is not limited to cement cementing, for example, to divide fractured open-hole wells. Variable density logging (FTTH logging - the same below) can simultaneously measure the amplitude of casing signals and formation signals, and record the full wave trains so that the casing consolidation and formation coupling can be judged in more detail As well as the string slot situation.
