手足口病是由肠道病毒引起的全球性传染病。1957年,新西兰最先报告手足口病。继后,欧洲、美洲、亚洲相继发生此病大流行。我国1981年发现手足口病,此后,每年都有人患病。2008年,我国全年累计报告手足口病48万多例,其中死亡病例占0.026%。2008年春、夏,安徽阜阳爆发手足口病累计6000余例,死亡24例。截至2009年4月7日,全国共报告手足口病11.5万例,其中,重症773例,死亡50例,5岁以下儿童病例占94.8%,3岁以下占到了77.6%。肠道病毒71型(EV71)引起的占75%。2008年5月2日,我国将手足口病列入丙类法定传染病。手足口病可防、可控、可治,并不可怕。近日,笔者来到微生物世界,走进肠道病毒家族,就手足口病有关问题,“采访”了EV71——
Hand, foot and mouth disease is a global infectious disease caused by enteroviruses. In 1957, New Zealand first reported hand-foot-mouth disease. Followed by Europe, the Americas, Asia have occurred in the pandemic. Hand, foot and mouth disease was found in China in 1981, and every year afterwards, people are sick. In 2008, there were more than 480,000 HFMD cases reported in China, of which 0.026% were fatal cases. In the spring of 2008, summer, there were over 6,000 hand-foot-mouth disease outbreaks in Fuyang, Anhui Province, 24 cases of death. As of April 7, 2009, a total of 115,000 HFMD cases were reported in the country, including 773 severe cases, 50 deaths, 94.8% of children under 5 years of age and 77.6% of children under 3 years of age. Enterovirus 71 (EV71) caused 75%. On May 2, 2008, China listed HFMD as a legal infectious disease. Hand, foot and mouth disease can be prevented, controllable, curable, not terrible.
