原河南省档案局党组副书记,副局长任光远同志因患急性心肌梗塞,经抢救无效,于一九八七年元月十八日上午九时不幸逝世,终年六十七岁。任光远同志是山西孝义县人。于一九三七年十月参加革命工作,同年十月加入了中国共产党,历任八路军总部特务团战士,陕北洛川抗大第四期学员,一一五师三四四旅六八八团副政治指导员,山西决死三纵队司令部译电员,太行军区第三军分区司令部机要股长,晋冀鲁豫军区司令部机要科长。一九四九年任中原军区机训大队副大队长,华中军区司令部机训大队大队长。一九五○年调中南军区,先后任中南机要学校教务主
