Retinoblastoma is the most serious and most harmful malignant tumor in infants and young children with familial genetic predisposition. At present, there is no effective preventive measures for the occurrence and development of this tumor. In recent years, it has been noted that etiology of retinoblastoma virus research, Mukai reported that the injection of human DNA virus into the mouse eye, within 73 to 167 days after injection, 44.4% of the injected eye retinal tumor, and in The next generation of newborn rats found malignant cells in the murine eye for three days, and the mutant cells showed a significant predisposition to a virus-specific luciferin-labeled antibody; whereas the control animals had no retinal tumor. This experiment shows whether the etiological significance of viral infection remains to be studied
