According to the consensus reached by the State Councillor and State Science and Technology Commissioner Song Jian on June 13th meeting with Hewlett-Packard Co., President of the US Hewlett-Packard Co., Ltd., under the auspices of Comrade Song Jian, the High Technology Research and Development Center of the State Science and Technology Commission will come forward in Ziguang in Zhongnanhai. Court and the United States Hewlett-Packard signed the agreement of the National Science Committee and Hewlett-Packard on the development of high-tech research. According to this agreement, Hewlett-Packard and the State Science and Technology Commission will fund a contract to jointly select, fund and develop some 863 research items.
