The single-mode operating conditions of a single-frequency narrow-linewidth distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) fiber laser were analyzed. Based on this, single-mode working area was calculated and a single-frequency narrow linewidth distributed Bragg reflector fiber laser was fabricated. The laser delivers a power of 1.4 3 mW at a pump power of 55.35 mW at a wavelength of 1556.91 nm with a bandwidth of less than 1.2 MHz at a laser pumping wavelength of 975.5 nm (limited by the measuring instrument resolution ).
