新疆的草莓栽培与研究起步较晚,近几年高等农业院校、科研单位和生产单位才陆续引种栽培,目前的主要问题是优良品种少,栽培管理粗放,产品质量差,还没有形成一定数量的商品。为此,我们从1982年开始先后从新疆农科院、沈阳农学院、北京林科所、北京东郊农场和贵阳农学院等单位引入栽培品种27个,进行观察和种苗繁殖,于1986年从引入品种中初选出10个品种,1988年又从10个品种中筛选出5个抗逆性强、丰产、品质好、适宜石河子地区栽培的草莓优良品种。 Strawberry cultivation and research in Xinjiang started late, in recent years, higher agricultural colleges, research institutes and production units were introduced one after another, the current main problems are less good varieties, extensive cultivation and management, product quality is poor, have not formed a certain number s product. To this end, we have introduced 27 cultivars from Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Shenyang Agricultural College, Beijing Forestry Branch, Beijing Dongjiao Farms and Guiyang Agricultural College since 1982, and observed and seedling breeding in 1986 Ten varieties were selected from the introduced varieties, and in 1988, five excellent varieties with strong resistance, high yield, good quality and suitable for cultivation in Shihezi region were screened from 10 varieties.
